Everybody needs three homes.

First, a heavenly home. Not everyone has one, but everyone sure does need one! My dear friend, if you are not completely sure that you have a home in heaven being prepared for you right this minute, please do not read any further. Click on the link on the left hand side of this page "Plan of Salvation" and you will see what the Scripture says about how to get a heavenly home.

Second, a Christian home. So many precious children are growing up in a home filled with hatred, strife, poverty, and neglect. It is no accident that the devil fights hardest in his attack on the home, using tools such as homosexuality, abortion, and divorce. The "nuclear family" of the 1950's, with it's working dad, stay at home mom, and 2.3 kids is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. A Christian home, with a loving atmosphere, a happy marriage, a providing father, a teaching mother, and obedient children is even more rare. But everybody needs one.

Third, a church home. Man is a social creature. Sadly, too many seek for that social interaction in the corner bar, in the sports team, in the hobby club, or in their office buddies. All of these are just shadows of what your local church can be - a group of spiritual friends, a pastor to teach you God's Word, a support of prayer in trial, and a great place to call home.
